Teresa Bowers has a vibrant career as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral performer, but her first love is chamber music. She is a founding member of the Sunderman Woodwind Quintet, resident faculty ensemble of the Sunderman Conservatory. The quintet performs concerts throughout the mid-Atlantic region. They have been featured performers at the National Association of Music Educators Eastern Division Conference in Hartford, CT,  the Pennsylvania Music Educators Conference and the Northeastern Division of the College Music Society.

Dr. Bowers also performs frequently with classical guitarist James Hontz and harpist Elizabeth Asmus.  She was a member of Duo Français with harpist Molly Hahn. She is principal flutist with the The Metta Ensemble and has served as principal flute for the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, the Harrisburg Opera Orchestra, and has performed with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Bowers is a frequent recitalist and most recently appeared at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Fair performing the flute music of Cecilia McDowall. She has performed for the National Flute Association at their annual convention. She has been featured in concerto performances with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, the West Shore Symphony Orchestra and will perform with the Gettysburg College Symphony Orchestra in October 2014.
